StudyTrust and Santam have opened applications for the Santem Bursary.
The bursary is designed for students who will be in their second, third or final year of undergraduate studies, or who will be doing an honours degree in 2021.
StudyTrust, which is an educational public benefit organisation, administers bursaries and scholarships and provide mentoring and support to help tertiary students thrive academically and personally.
The mission of StudyTrust is to complement students’ technical and academic skills, prepare them for meaningful employment and become active contributors to the economy.
Benefits
- The Santam bursary will cover tuition, residence/private accommodation, subsistence, stationery and books
Eligibility
- Applicants must have achieved an average of 65 percent and above at undergraduate level in the latest examinations (mid-year/June)
- Applicants with academic potential and motivation for a career with Santam
- Only applications from South African citizens will be considered

Applicants with postgraduate diploma, bachelor’s degree or an honours degree in Insurance/Risk Management/Law, Mathematics/Statistics, Finance/Accounting/Economics, Chemical/Civil Engineering, Computer Science/Information Technology and Agriculture
