(SSRC) has opened applications for its Postdoctoral Writing Fellowship.
The fellowship is designed to support the completion of doctoral degrees and to promote next generation social science research in Ghana, Kenya, Nigeria, South Africa, Tanzania, and Uganda.
Benefits
- Successful applicant will receive a stipend of up to U.S.$3,000
Eligibility
- Open to citizens of any sub-Saharan country
- Applicant must hold a doctorate degree from an accredited university in Ghana, Kenya, Nigeria, South Africa, Tanzania, or Uganda
- Applicant must be a recipient of at least one Next Generation Social Sciences Doctoral Dissertation fellowship
- Applicant must be ready to take no less than three-month leave away from routine teaching and administrative duties
- Applicant must be affiliated to an academic department in Ghana, Kenya, Nigeria, South Africa, Tanzania, or Uganda
