The Skills Outside School (SOS) Foundation is a not-for-profit organisation registered in June 2014 with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC), Nigeria. They deploy education, employability, and entrepreneurship interventions that help prepare youths and young adults for the future and the global economy.

The SOS Headstart programme is aimed at building young entrepreneurs who can build businesses that can solve problems, grow, remain sustainable, and ultimately, contribute to the economy by improving the GDP, payment of taxes, ensuring productivity and job creation.

SOS Bridge deploys 21st-century life skills, career mentoring, and academic support programmes for public secondary schools.

Eligibility

  • Applicants should be looking to get more involved with their local community
  • Applicants should be willing to volunteer with SOS programmes, Finance, Admin, and Media and Communications departments in whichever state in Nigeria they are located
  • Applicants should enjoy working with young adults and youths
  • Applicants should be passionate about education, employability, and entrepreneurship and how it affects young adults and youth today
