SNV is seeking to fill the role of Project Manager.

Responsibilities
- Execute overall project management
- Guide the project implementation, including developing workplans, budgets and competency table with financial responsibilities and mandates
- Build, strengthen and manage partnerships with local and national governments, private sector partners, institutions and other stakeholders
- Manage donor relations and the donor contract
- Ensure overall management of all human, physical and financial resources related to the project
- Monitor performance of the project management team to ensure all milestones set in the annual workplan are met
- Develop mitigation plans to reduce risks and take corrective actions to remedy any deviation from the workplans
- Account and report to SNV and the donor on project performance
- Guide knowledge development, documentation, communication and branding in close collaboration with the donor
- Identify follow-up funding and partnership possibilities with country management and business development
Requirements
- Advanced qualification in Governance, Development Studies, Economics, or a related field
- Ten years, minimum, of relevant work experience in managing and implementing projects
- Work experience in Africa, preferable West Africa
- Solid experience in project management
- Proven experience with gender-specific monitoring and evaluation and reporting
- Highly motivated self-starter with strong organisational skills
- Strong strategic decision-making and communication skills including reporting and presentation
- Demonstrated ability to coach and build capacity in intercultural environment
- Strong interpersonal skills and proven ability to communicate clearly, tactfully and sensitively and to interact with people from different social and cultural backgrounds
- Fluency in French and English
- Knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint and regular communication channels (Internet, email, Skype)
- Willingness to live and work in the duty station and travel to project implementation locations in North Benin
