SNV is seeking to fill the role of Administrative and Finance Assistant.

Responsibilities

  • Support the daily administrative and financial management of projects
  • Support in the preparation, execution and monitoring of budgets, cash management, preparation of payments, financial monitoring of implementing partners, preparation of financial reports to donors and audits, etc

Requirements

  • Diploma in Finance/Accounting or equivalent
  • Two years, minimum, of experience in administrative and accounting management in a non-governmental organisation/international organisation
  • Experience in developing and monitoring budget implementation, managing payments and contracts, monitoring and financial reporting, and preparing for project audits
  • Experience in monitoring grants made available to partners
  • Experience in logistics and contracting
  • Experience in managing employee advances and liquidity management
  • Dynamic, proactive, initiative and entrepreneurial spirit, great capacity for learning, and good team spirit
  • Mastery of financial and accounting standards and procedures
  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office applications
