Save the Children is seeking applications from eligible applicants for the post of Procurement Officer.
The organisation works to ensure children around the world get health care, food and shelter as well as learning and child protection services.
Responsibilities
- Handle country/Cairo programme procurement activities consistent with Save the Children policies and procedures
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant business field
- Four years, minimum, of experience in the field of procurement
- Microsoft Office skills, especially Microsoft Excel
- Experience with child rights and child rights programming (desirable)
- Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills including influencing, negotiation and coaching
- Highly developed facilitation and capacity building skills
- Fluency in Arabic and good communication and writing skills in English language
- Commitment to Save the Children’s values
