Save the Children International has opened applications for the role of Field Manager.
The organisation works to ensure children around the world get health care, food and shelter as well as learning and child protection services.
Responsibilities
- Lead a programme funded by GAVI and implemented in consortium with International Rescue Committee (IRC), Acasus and Clinton Health Access Initiative (CHAI)
Requirements
- Relevant master’s degree in Public Health
- Ten years, minimum, of demonstrated experience in programme management and administration, including management of grants and donor compliance, with a focus on vaccination and access to health services for children in conflict-affected areas and fragile countries
- Five years, minimum, of proven experience in managing large multi-country programmes
- Two years, minimum, of proven experience in managing large consortia
- Knowledge of and proven experience of working in partnership with governments
- Solid experience in working collaboratively through equal partnerships
- Excellent written and spoken level of French and English
- Excellent skills in programme performance and quality monitoring and reporting
- Excellent skills in multi-stakeholder management, both internally and externally
- Strong analytical and conceptual skills and the ability to think and plan strategically
- Ability to work with limited supervision
