Eligibility

  • Business should have been running for at least 12 months
  • Business should be owned and managed by sub-Saharan Africans
  • Business should be headquartered and registered (if applicable) within South African borders
  • Business should be commercially sustainable and viable
  • Applicant should be involved in the daily operations and management of the business on a full-time basis and not employed by any other organisation
  • Applicant should have the skills and experience necessary for the type of business they are engaged in
  • Business should be in the early stages of growth
  • Applicant should show a willingness to learn, grow and change
  • Applicant should show entrepreneurial and leadership abilities
  • Applicant should be resilient and driven to succeed
