Realness Institute has opened application for the 2022 African Screenwriters Residency Programme.
The programme provides participants with the support they need to refine their projects from a creative perspective as well as to pitch their projects to industry partners for possible funding and production.
Benefits
- Most travel and accommodation expenses are covered by the Realness Institute and its programme partners
Eligibility
- Have a valid African passport
- Have a 60–100 percent script filmed in Africa
- Script must be fiction
- Adaptations are eligible although applicant must include proof that rights to the source material have been acquired with their application
