Plan International is seeking to fill the role of Sponsorship Data Processing Officer.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and dispatch ‘to do lists’ for volunteers and updates on the 25th of each month
  • Receive, review and conduct quality check on SCI/SCU questionnaires received from volunteer
  • Receive, review and conduct quality checks on SC/SF photos, process in CD-PET and input into Child Data (CD)
  • Receive and conduct quality check on all responses of SC gifts and letters submitted by  volunteers and process in CD
  • Review SCCDRs submitted for the attention of the programme implementation and influencing area manager (PIIAM)
  • Enter primary data of all replacements, and create folders for new SCIs
  • Keep a clear record of all SC folders at the PIIA and inform the programme implementation and influencing area manager of any irregularities with copy to the sponsorship support manager
  • Assist the PIIAM in the facilitation and identify eligible children and volunteers for the sponsorship programme in the PIIA
  • Assist in the preparation of annual sponsorship operational plan for the PIIA
  • Assist the PIIA in preparing the production of programme area overviews, programme area updates and graduation/cancellation memo
  • Assist the PIIAM in visit preparation, prepare and adhere to the local sponsor visit guidelines and processes
  • Assist in the production of weekly, monthly, quarterly, annual and sponsor visit reports as agreed with the PIIAM
  • Assist the PIIAM in ensuring adequate availability of logistics for sponsorship activities at the PIIA
  • Comply with the sponsorship standards in the sponsorship manual
  • Participate in all sponsorship and PIIA meetings
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly budget forecasts for sponsorship activities at the PIIA level
  • Liaise with colleagues in the PIIAs to ensure quality checks on all communication items received from the NOs in line with sponsorship commitments

Requirements

  • Diploma in Computing, Data Processing or a related area
  • Three years, minimum, of experience in data processing, tracking, and monitoring
  • Good command of English
  • Control and understanding of Word, Excel, Internet and PowerPoint
  • Two years, minimum, of experience as data entry clerk/general services or comparable position
