Plan International is seeking to fill the role of Regional Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist.

Responsibilities
- Contribute to the success of the monitoring and evaluation strengthening work by supporting country offices to adopt and implement the new monitoring and evaluation approach, frameworks and system to ensure transparency and accountability to all stakeholders
- Contribute to enhancing capacity in Plan International offices to apply the above approach, principles, standards and system
Requirements
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with expert knowledge of monitoring and evaluation of development work across a wide range of technical areas
- Experience of developing guidelines of processes, approaches, tools that facilitate monitoring and evaluation, and organisational learning
- Understanding of the realities of NGO programme management and limitations that impact programme monitoring, evaluation and learning
- Understanding of different approaches to assessing and reporting NGO programming results across a wide variety of contexts
- Ability to listen, consult and learn with others across Plan International
- Theoretical and practical understanding of gender attitudes and power dynamics, including why they exist and how they change, and how these attitudes and dynamics shape MERL approaches and methodologies
- Fluency in English
- Fluency in French, Portuguese, Arabic and/or Spanish will be an advantage
