Plan International is seeking applications from eligible applicants for the post of Monitoring and Evaluation Coordinator.

Responsibilities
- Assist the project manager and implementation partners in the design and implementation of an integrated planning, monitoring and evaluation system
- Support adherence to the project monitoring and evaluation framework and the global monitoring and evaluation framework with the direction of MEAL specialist from Plan International Finland
- Support ongoing monitoring of data collection of project activities through regular visits, meetings with community, beneficiaries and other stakeholders
- Train Plan International project and implementation partner’s staff, including those from the government on the MANDZIKU result framework, data collection tools, documentation (compilation of project success stories, most significant changes, etc.)
- Document project implementation and changes generated by the project through surveys, success stories, documentaries, most significant changes, booklets, etc., and maintain crucial project documents which track project progress
- Support work to ensure that accurate and complete monitoring, evaluation and data collection, storage systems, records and files are set up, maintained and updated
- Perform regular data quality assurance
- Ensure that project feedback, results and lessons learnt are effectively communicated to inform adjustments and improvements in project approaches, scale-up and delivery
- Organise monthly, quarterly and annual reflection meetings with project staff – for the annual reflection meeting, include government and other relevant stakeholders
- Support in preparation of all monthly, quarterly and annual project work plans and reports, as required, by Plan International Mozambique and the donor and by other project stakeholders and beneficiaries, providing relevant and accurate data and analysis
- Identify any potential issues or risks that could affect the progression of the project and communicate these items with the project manager
- Perform any other duties within the scope of the position as assigned by the supervisor
Requirements
- Degree in Social Sciences or Statistics, or a related discipline
- Five years, minimum, of MERL experience with international NGOs
- Strong technical expertise of monitoring and evaluation, research and documentation of projects
- Ability to use Microsoft Office applications
- Good communication skills in Portuguese and English
