Plan International is seeking to fill the role of ICT Coordinator.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure adherence to corporate ICT standards at country office, Oromia PA and other assigned offices
  • Participate actively in the preparation of ICT strategy and annual workplan and ensure its implementation
  • Ensure Plan ICT policy, procedures and guidelines are implemented effectively
  • Maintain an effective liaison with ICT service providers and other relevant stakeholders
  • Design, Implement and manage reliable I.T. infrastructure
  • Manage plan corporate system
  • Provide first-line support, network and system administration, troubleshooting and maintenance of corporate applications to ensure smooth ICT operations
  • Monitor hardware, LAN and connectivity and take appropriate actions
  • Ensure security of data, network access and backup systems
  • Participate actively in new ICT systems project rollout, testing and certification to improve accessibility of Plan International ICT systems
  • Design and implement new automation, digital and innovation systems
  • Support projects to use right ICT4D technologies
  • Ensure all corporate systems and new digital tools are effectively implemented and used in the country office, Oromia PA and sub offices
  • Provide a timely ICT disaster recovery to ensure ICT business continuity
  • Ensure efficient utilisation of ICT Infrastructure to reduce wastage and ensure return on investment of ICT resources
  • Support and conduct training on new policies, standards and procedures
  • Enhance the capacity of staff on digital skill and new systems

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Five years, minimum, of relevant and technical experience
  • Knowledge of an ERP system
  • Basic knowledge of Cisco Meraki and Cloud technology
  • Basic knowledge of Windows server 2012 and Windows 10 Operating System
  • Knowledge of networking and communication technologies
  • Experience in preparing and submitting business cases
  • Fluency in English (essential)
  • Knowledge of local languages (desirable)
