Plan International is seeking applications from eligible applicants for the post of Driver.

Responsibilities
- Clean vehicle and perform routine checks to ensure it has proper working tools on a daily basis
- Refuel vehicle using an approved fuel voucher and record this on the vehicle logsheet
- Park vehicle safely at a designated place at the end of each workday not later than six pm
- Ensure vehicle movement logbook is filled timely and regularly
- Report immediately to the admin officer an accident or issue involving Plan International vehicles
- Transport staff and designated people to all areas as instructed and with approved vehicle request forms
- Ferry goods to required points as may be directed from time to time
- Ensure vehicles have necessary materials such as umbrellas, first-aid box, map, fire extinguishers, etc
- Ensure that all Plan International assets in a parked vehicle are secure
- File in vehicle logbooks accurately and submit to the admin officer
- Prepare monthly vehicle maintenance reports for allocated vehicles
- Dispatch and deliver all documents between Plan International and other service providers
- Assist in sourcing for quotations towards the procurement of goods and materials for programme delivery as per corporate procedures to ensure value for money is obtained
- Ensure dispatch of goods and materials to various project offices to facilitate programme delivery without any reports of loss or destruction of items
- Comply with Plan International’s child safeguarding policy at all times
- Perform any other duties that may be assigned from time to time
Requirements
- Good communication, interpersonal and computer skills
- Class B driver’s licence
- Advanced or ordinary level certificate
- Three years, minimum, of experience in vehicle maintenance and driving
- Experience in an NGO setup will be an added advantage
- Any relevant certification in driving/clerical services will be an added advantage
