Plan International is seeking to fill the role of Driver.
Plan International is an independent development and humanitarian organisation that advances children’s rights and equality for girls.
Responsibilities
- Clean vehicle and perform routine checks to ensure it has proper working tools on a daily basis
- Refuel vehicle using an approved fuel voucher and record this on the vehicle log sheet
- Ensure that travels are formally approved by the administration officer
- Report immediately to the admin, logistics and compliance officer all accidents involving Plan International vehicles
- Adhere to the motor vehicle policy provisions
- Transport staff and designated people to all areas as instructed
- Ferry goods to required points as may be directed from time to time
- Ensure all Plan International assets in the vehicle are protected
- Fill out vehicle log books and submit to the admin, logistics and compliance officer
- Prepare monthly vehicle maintenance reports for allocated vehicles
Requirements
- Certificate in Logistics, Administration, Procurement will be a plus
- Five years, minimum, of experience in vehicle maintenance and driving
- Class C driver’s licence plus valid defensive driving certificate
- Certificate from NIT or a recognised institution
- Good communication skills
- Good interpersonal skills
- Good computer skills
