Plan International is seeking to fill the role of Child Protection Information Management System (CPIMS) Assistant.

Responsibilities
- Provide support in ensuring facilitation of knowledge building and knowledge sharing
- Support the documentation of the outcomes of training, workshops, meetings and events
- Document cases into child protection Information management system and share the monthly trend analysis for programming decision
- Provide support to ensure that monitoring and evaluation-specific elements of local partner capacity strengthening plans are successfully implemented
- Report results of monitoring and evaluation activities by providing written documentation about progress toward achieving indicators/targets, as appropriate
- Ensure high-quality implementation, in close collaboration with the field-based team, sector specialists and the monitoring and evaluation coordinator, and consistency in protocols, information and reporting systems
- Support efforts to utilise training monitoring systems to track and monitor trainers and participants at training events to facilitate follow-up and record-keeping
- Utilise the training data collected to inform strategic decision-making and project planning
- Support targeted evaluation and operation research, including design, data collection, management and analysis
- Ensure quality of data through data verification procedures, including routine data quality audits
- Provide support to ensure that relevant data are entered into organisation-wide data management system designed to capture, analyse, and disseminate project data
- Support field-level-partner staff, community-based project management committee (CBPMC) and enumerators in designing, developing and deploying tools for community-based selection criteria for the selection of beneficiaries
- Support the production information and knowledge management products for the project
Requirements
- Bachelors’ degree or equivalent with experience in national NGO/international NGO
- Two years, minimum, of experience in humanitarian response in northeast Nigeria (preferred)
- Excellent computer skills
- One year, minimum, of experience in information management role, as well as experience in Child Protection in Emergency (CPiE) programming will be a plus
- Strong technical skills, including ability to process and analyse data using one or more statistical software packages
- Excellent English writing and speaking skills, and ability to speak Hausa and Kanuri will be a plus
- Ability to identify diverse, relevant external actors to work with and understand the purpose and implications of working with them
- Ability to work collaboratively with others
- Ability to organise ideas in a logical and structured manner
- Ability to prioritise workload and manage multiple tasks and deadlines
