Plan International is seeking applications from eligible applicants for the post of Director of Business Processes and Solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Drive operational excellence across West and Central Africa’s growing and complex portfolios
  • Ensure continuous improvement across all the key management standards by providing strategic analysis on performance, supporting remediation, risk management and implementation of new solutions/initiatives for effective service delivery, contributing to Plan International’s global strategy in West and Central Africa
  • Bring critical analysis and insights which help to drive decisions related to strategy, growth, and operational efficiency within the organisation
  • Maintain an organisation-wide perspective and support decision making among leadership members in West and Central Africa
  • Partner with other senior leaders within the region to strengthen Plan International’s programme performance by providing the key insights on strategy implementation to enable the organisation to determine progress towards strategic ambition

Requirements

  • Track record of identifying opportunities to remove cost and improve effectiveness and be experienced at liaising and translating between technology and business needs
  • Ability to lead and manage high performing teams in multi locations and results oriented management with the strategic agility to get things done
  • High financial literacy and ability to interpret and communicate complex data and reports and a clear understanding of the impact of decisions taken
  • Capacity to analyse and understand complex situations and identify the core issues that need to be acted upon, strong interpersonal, communication and engagement skills and proven ability to handle conflict situations in a constructive manner
  • Ability to build multi-stakeholder consensus in relation to complex situations with conflicting interest
