Plan International is seeking applications from eligible applicants for the post of Information Management Officer.

Responsibilities
- Provide technical support for CPiE projects and Bamenda PIIA
- Ensure that the information/data collection is made in accordance with the project specifications, guideline of donors and in accordance with the strategic guidelines and Plan International Cameroon programmatic standards
- Organise/supervise the data collection, processing and analysis of data in the context of monitoring the indicators of the project
- Carry out monitoring and evaluation for the SIDA project
- Train local Plan International staff: officers, social workers, field monitors, members of the local organisation’s partners on the use of data collection tools as well as data quality and reporting
- Develop and manage the entire Child Protection Case Management database and GBV Case Management for CPiE projects for the Northwest and Southwest response
- Implement and regularly update the information management system
- Design necessary data collection forms, ensuring that the purpose and use of data collected is clear and that questions are simple, clear and collectable
- Ensure quality control of data and information collected
- Organise and manage data input from case management and other data collection forms and conduct initial analysis of the data
- Provide support to the analysis of key project indicators with graphs, maps and infographics
- Based on the data collected, conduct needs and gap identification for the relevant sector
- Proactively gather information from relevant partners and other organisations which may be of use for informing decisions
- Develop an information-sharing platform as a web portal
- Update 5Ws matrix data from all CPiE projects of the PIIA
- Provide information management services to support population data management activities, including population and IDP estimations for project proposals
- Provide advice and counselling concerning information management issues
Requirements
- University degree in Management of Information Systems (MIS), Data Management, Computer Science/Statistics, Economics or a related discipline
- Two years, minimum, of experience in data collection and data management, monitoring and evaluation or other relevant areas
- Experience in database design, database distribution and map production and capacity-building
- Proficiency in the use of GIS, advanced Excel, SPSS or STATA and other related software packages
- Demonstrated skills and experience in data and data analysis visualisation
