Plan International is seeking to fill the role of Youth Economy Empowerment Project Manager.

Responsibilities
- Ensure/lead on initial rapid and in-depth assessment of current situation of youth and their opportunities, using the adolescent girl and young people toolkit and other assessment tool
- Lead the needs and gaps analysis – specific trainings and skills strengthening required by young unemployed people
- Develop a realistic evidence‐based youth skill proposal
- Provide technical support for the development of response strategy and make sure the skill and opportunities for youths is part of the response strategy
Requirements
- BA/MA in Sociology, Economics, Development Studies, Gender Studies, Agriculture, or a related discipline
- Five years, minimum, of proven experience in leading international Livelihood/economic recovery projects that delivered high quality programming and gender transformative results, preferably in an emergency setting
- Five years, minimum, of proven experience in community mobilisation, partner management and economic empowerment/food security/livelihood
- Demonstrated experience in activities with communities and/or international development in INGOs working environment, preferable experience in leading refugee and migration responses and/or disaster
