Palladium is seeking to fill the position of Technical Lead, Ghana Private Sector Engagement.

Palladium is a child-safe organisation that works with foundations, investors, governments, corporations, communities and civil society organisations to formulate strategies and implement solutions that generate lasting social, environmental and financial benefits.

Responsibilities

  • Engage with private sector health actors to understand challenges faced in providing low-cost quality services
  • Design models for increased service delivery, including using public-private partnerships and examining financing opportunities
  • Lead planning, development, and implementation of private sector health activities, including management of staff, budget, reporting requirements, and products
  • Prepare presentations, manuscripts, reports, and briefs for internal and/or client use
  • Support capacity building and knowledge sharing on private sector engagement and investments in health
  • Represent the project/programme in specific technical meetings and forums, including coordination meetings with partners, clients, and other stakeholders

Requirements

  • Extensive progressive experience in roles related to private sector health, public-private partnerships, and private investments in health in Ghana
  • Demonstrated understanding of the commercial sector in the Ghanaian context, including private hospital and clinic networks, health care manufacturers, and health insurance
  • Experience working with/for commercial companies and/or investors (highly desirable)
  • Strong written and oral communication skills for high-level policy audiences
  • Experience working with USAID-funded programmes will be a plus
