The Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC) is seeking to fill the role of Consortium Manager.
NRC provides assistance, protection and durable solutions to refugees and internally displaced persons worldwide.
Responsibilities
- Provide guidance to the member organisations to ensure activities are implemented in a timely and professional manner, according to objectives, goals and indicators, in line with donor requirements and consortium agreement
- Coordinate the development of donor narrative reports in close coordination with consortium partner focal points
- Provide guidance to consortium members on donor compliance, including updating of donor rules and regulation handouts, reporting and communications toolkits
- Ensure donor compliance across the consortium including visibility, procurement guidelines, etc
- Provide technical support for quantitative and qualitative analysis for assessments, donor reports, and other processes
- Coordinate and participate in joint field missions to consortium-targeted locations
Requirements
- Five years, minimum, of experience in an international NGO, preferably in a development or post-conflict setting, including project cycle management and result-based methodology
- Thorough experience with and knowledge of principles and current approaches to peacebuilding and mediation programming in relief and development programmes
- Strong experience in negotiation and diplomacy, and an experience in coordinating teams with no direct hierarchy link
- Experience in facilitating the capacity building efforts of diverse colleagues, including local partner agencies
- Strong command in writing and editing documents in English and French
- Proficiency in French (spoken and written)
- Analytic and computer skills, including MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
