Nigeria LNG Limited has announced a call for applications for its Postprimary and Undergraduate Scholarships 2020/2021.

​Nigeria LNG Limited says it remains focused on education and human capital development as it seeks to promote academic excellence by supporting top students.

Benefits

  • For postprimary scholarship, a total sum of N825,300,000 ($2.697 million) is available
  • For undergraduate scholarship, the award value is N150,000 per annum for the course duration of each awardee

Eligibility

  • For postprimary scholarships, be an indigene of an NLNG host community
  • Be a basic five or s pupil and provide result
  • Provide an attestation letter signed and stamped by head teacher (contact telephone number of the head teacher must be stated in the letter)
  • Provide an indigene confirmation letter signed by the CDC Chairman or Chief in community
  • Provide letter of identification from local government council
  • Provide a passport-sized photograph
  • Applicant must not be a child or ward of staff of Nigeria LNG Limited
  • For undergraduate scholarships, application must have excellent/very good West Africa School Certificate (WASC) or National Examination Council result (a minimum of five credits including Mathematics and English) at one sitting
  • Applicants must score 200 and above at the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME)
  • Applicant must be a certified full-time year-one student of any Nigerian university at the time of application
  • Applicants must have at least 3.5 CGPA
  • Applicant must not be a beneficiary of any other scholarship award/scheme from any other company, organisation or agency
  • Applicant must not be a spouse or child of a staff of Nigeria LNG Limited
