Apply: NED Reagan-Fascell Democracy Fellowship

The National Endowment for Democracy (NED) has announced a call for applicants for the Reagan-Fascell Democracy Fellowship 2024.

The exchange programme is designed to allow fellows to undertake independent research on global democratic developments and to undergo research in a particular country or region.

Benefits

  • Fellows will receive a monthly stipend
  • Health insurance of the fellows will be covered 
  • Cost of a furnished rental apartment will be paid
  • Cost of roundtrip travel to and from Washington, D.C., will be covered
  • Costs of living, including food, local transportation, and other living necessities, will be covered
  • Fully equipped office will be provided
  • Cost of long-distance phone calls and professional trips will be covered

Eligibility

  • Applicants must be proficient in English
  • Applicant must propose a project that will be focusing on the political, social, economic, legal, or cultural sides of the democratic countries
  • Applicants must ensure their availability at the residence in Washington, D.C., during their five-month fellowship
