Apply: Mo Ibrahim Foundation Academy Fellowship

Chatham House has announced a call for application for the Mo Ibrahim Foundation Academy Fellowship in the Queen Elizabeth II Academy for Leadership in International Affairs.

The academy was formally launched by the patron of Chatham House, the Queen, on 18 November, 2014. It offers potential leaders from around the world the opportunity to get involved and contribute to the work which Chatham House does.

Academy fellows are drawn from government and the broader policy community, the private sector, media and civil society.

During their time at the academy, fellows deepen their understanding of critical issues, learn new skills, develop their networks, and propose new ideas and solutions to complex policy challenges and opportunities.

The Academy welcomes approximately ten fellows per year from across the world.

Benefits

  • The fellow will receive a monthly stipend of £2,365
  • Modest provision is made for the costs of relocation, fieldwork, and possible publication costs

Eligibility

  • The fellowship is open to citizens of Cameroon, Ivory Coast, Nigeria, Sierra Leone, Ethiopia, Uganda, Mozambique, and Zambia
  • Applications will also be accepted from applicants holding dual nationality which includes one of the aforementioned countries
  • It is required that the applicant holds a completed B.A. degree or equivalent (master’s degree with an international focus is preferred)
