The Maghreb Photography Awards create new opportunities to showcase the best photographic work and introduce leading talents to the world of contemporary photography. They celebrate creativity, ambition and support artists to develop and present their work through competition.
Benefits
- The winner of the Maghreb Photographer of the Year Award gets a $1,000 prize and a projection of their photography project at a photo festival
- The winner of the Best Photo Project from the Maghreb Award gets a $500 prize and a projection of their photography project at a photo festival
- The winner of the Emerging Talent of the Year Award gets a $250 prize and a projection of their photography project at a photo festival
- The winner of the Best Photo Project Outside the Maghreb Award gets a $150 prize
- The winner of the Maghreb Photo of the Year Award gets a $100 prize
- The winner of the Photo out of the Maghreb of the Year Award gets a $50 prize
- All winners will also benefit from extensive press coverage and the publication of their work in a photo book
Eligibility
- Open to all amateur and professional photographers worldwide
- Entrants should be at least 18 years old at the date of entry
- Photo projects realised in one of the countries of the Arab Maghreb (Morocco, Mauritania, Algeria, Tunisia, Libya) as well as Egypt are eligible
