Global Water Partnership (GWP), in collaboration with Continental Africa Water Investment Programme (AIP), has opened applications for Youth Leadership Fellowship.

The fellowship aims to empower young people in driving the transformation required to improve the investment outlook for water security and sustainable sanitation in Africa.

This fellowship offers youth leaders with an opportunity to acquire exceptional skills and competencies that will pave a career path and develop leadership potential.

Benefits

• GWP will provide a small stipend to fellows
• GWP will pay for accommodation and travel expenses, if any project-related travel is required

Eligibility

• Open to holders of master’s degree, minimum, in Water, Climate, Environment and Natural Resources, Gender, and Energy Studies, or a discipline relevant to GWP work
• Applicants must possess general knowledge and understanding of water resources management
• Applicants should have a solid understanding of international development, gender, water security, environmental management, climate change, and climate change adaptation
• Applicants should be fluent in English and living in one of the AU members states
• Applicants should be 35 years of age or younger on 31 March, 2021
• Applicants must be lawfully eligible to reside in the country of appointment
