Global Sustainable Electricity Partnership (GSEP) has opened applications for the 2022 Education for Sustainable Energy Development (ESED) Scholarship Programme.
Researchers and practitioners in sustainable energy development are in high demand today. This scholarship programme therefore aims to develop the next generation of specialists in the energy, climate, and electricity sectors to face the challenges of the future.
Benefits
- Up to U.S.$10,000 per year
Eligibility
- Eligible applicants must be pursuing full-time studies for at least one full school year (two or three semesters)
- Students in the second year of a two-year programme are eligible to apply, provided that they meet other requirements
- Applicant must be a citizen of a developing country/territory on the list of official development aid recipients identified by the Development Cooperation Directorate (DAC) of the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD)
- Applicant must be committed to returning to their home country after their studies to contribute to its development
