Global Communities is seeking applications from eligible applicants for the post of Chief of Party/Partnership Coordinator.

Global Communities is an international non-profit organisation that works with communities worldwide to bring about sustainable changes that improve the lives and livelihoods of vulnerable persons.

Responsibilities

• Manage and mentor a team of local professional staff in the implementation of project activities
• Oversee capacity building programmes for technical strategy development and implementation, annual work planning and programme implementation
• Ensure project deliverables and results are met according to schedule, in a cost efficient way and with the highest quality
• Ensure compliance with USAID rules
• Serve as the principal liaison with USAID, partner organisations, the international implementer community in Zambia and project stakeholders

Requirements

• Master’s degree or higher in Business Administration, Agribusiness, Agri Financing, or a relevant field
• Ten years, minimum, of experience and progressively increasing management responsibility in international development projects
• Ability to build, maintain relationships with host governments, stakeholders, and the private sector
• Fluency in written and spoken English
• Nationality of Zambia
