Girl Up has opened applications for the Girl Up Scholarship Fund for the 2020–2021 academic year.
The scholarship is intended to alleviate financial burdens of post-secondary education and support the success of students working to advance gender equality.
Girls have a tremendous, often untapped power to change the world. Girl Up helps girls access their inner power to advance the skills, rights, and opportunities of girls everywhere.
Benefit
- No less than 35 recipients will each receive $2,500
Eligibility
- Open to applicants of all nationalities
- Applicant should be a Girl Up participant (event attendee, club member, programme participant, etc.) enrolled in a college by the time of selection
- Applicants must be studying disciplines related to storytelling/communications, sports-related field and/or plans to use sports as a platform for advocacy, and science, technology, engineering, math (STEM)
