The Family Health International (FHI 360) is seeking to fill the role of Technical Officer.
FHI 360 delivers sustainable, high-quality, comprehensive HIV/AIDS prevention, treatment, care and support services.
Responsibilities
- Prepare for and lead trainings
- Provide technical support in the development and dissemination of tools, materials, reports, papers, and intervention for research projects
- Work closely with assigned team to ensure activities are implemented according to standard operating procedures
- Write and edit technical reports and documents
- Assist with publications, web pages, and presentations
- Monitor and maintain protocols, instruments, data sets, manuals, training materials and reports
- Respond to requests and enquiries from internal and external staff
- Performs other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or international equivalent in Economics, Education, Environment, Health, Human Development, Information Science, International Development, Social Sciences, or a related field
- Two years of project data collection and technical assistance experience
- Proficiency with database management software and online search tools
- Sensitivity to cultural diversity and understanding of the political, contextual, and ethical issues in assigned areas
- Ability to communicate in a clear, positive fashion with clients and staff
- Experience in a non-governmental organisation (NGO), government agency, or private company
