The Family Health International (FHI 360) is seeking to fill the role of Team Lead.

FHI 360 builds local capacity for the delivery of sustainable, high-quality, comprehensive HIV/AIDS prevention, treatment, care and support services.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the delivery of interventions, management of staff, ensuring a strong working relationship between the lead Investor/provider and the subs
  • Ensure appropriate performance management and ongoing management to deliver the programme with support from the deputy team lead=
  • Provide technical leadership, administrative oversight, and overall coordination of the activity to manage staff
  • Ensure the Ghana Education Outcomes Funding (EOF) meets stated goals and reporting requirements
  • Ensure the quality, timeliness, and efficiency of all products and activities generated under Ghana Accountability for Learning Outcomes Project (GALOP)

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Education, Economics, Public Policy, International Development, or a related field from an accredited university (Ph.D. or Ed.D. is highly preferred)
  • Eight years, minimum, of experience in similar education intervention activities, and experience managing complex international donor-funded development activities in challenging environments
  • Relevant management, supervisory, technical experience working with programs that are of a similar scope and scale to this programme
  • Demonstrated leadership, effective organisational development, partnership-building, managerial, teambuilding and communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work in complex environments, across different cultures, and manage diverse teams to deliver impact within agreed timelines across a broad geographic area
  • Proven ability to coordinate with government stakeholders, as well as non-governmental organisations
  • Demonstrated knowledge of regulations, policies, and procedures as they relate to project and programme compliance and reporting
  • Experience in developing literacy and numeracy instructional programmes
  • Experience designing and managing education programmes (desirable)
  • Experience working in West Africa (highly desirable)
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English
