Deep Blue Energy Services is recruiting to fill the position of Finance Manager.

Deep Blue Energy is a resource and solutions management company that specialises in assisting international/local companies in identifying potential market opportunities and sourcing highly skilled employees.

Responsibilities

  • Collate, prepare and interpret data, reports, budgets, accounts, commentaries and financial statements
  • Undertake strategic analysis and assisting with strategic planning
  • Produce long-term business plan
  • Undertake research into pricing, competitors and factors affecting performance
  • Manage income, cash flow and expenditure developing, as well as financial systems/models
  • Carry out business modelling and risk assessments
  • Supervise staff
  • Liaise with managerial staff and other colleagues
  • Provide and interpret financial information monitoring
  • Interpret cash flows and predict future trends
  • Formulate strategic and long-term business plans
  • Research and report on factors influencing business performance
  • Develop financial management mechanisms that minimise financial risk, while maximising financial opportunities
  • Conduct reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities
  • Manage a NJP’s financial accounting
  • Liaise with auditors to ensure annual monitoring is carried out
  • Develop external relationships with appropriate contacts, e.g., auditors, solicitors, bankers and statutory organisations
  • Produce accurate and timely financial reports
  • Keep abreast of changes in financial regulations and legislation

Requirements

  • At least bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, and an MBA or master’s degree in finance
  • Be ICAN-certified and have other professional qualifications
  • Possession of ACCA will be an added advantage
  • Fifteen years, minimum, of experience with at least four years in a similar position
