Danish Refugee Council (DRC) is seeking applications from eligible applicants for the post of Human Resources Trainee.

DRC provides direct assistance to conflict-affected populations – refugees, and internally displaced people (IDPs).

Responsibilities

  • Support the hiring manager in defining needs (job description, classification, etc.)
  • Support the hiring manager in defining the selection stages and their schedule, including several contacts
  • Reformat/optimise job advertisements based on an initial proposal from the recruiting manager
  • Publish and disseminate announcements including the proactive search for candidates
  • Ensure the first screening of applications
  • Ensure the administration of all selection phases and communication with all stakeholders
  • Provide feedback to candidates who have passed interviews
  • Manage requests for references, preparation and sending of job offers
  • Make contract requests and ensure pre-integration monitoring (receipt of the employment contract, insurance information, etc.)
  • Assist in the use of DRC HR tools (HR Manager, Dynamics, etc.)
  • Ensure organisation of events (HR) and participation

Requirements

  • Six months in a support service or in programme management for a non-governmental or national or international organisation or within a funder (preferably within an NGO)
  • Master’s degree, preferably generalist in Social Sciences, Political Science, International Relations or Bioforce (specialisation in human resources management) is an obvious asset
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office
