The German Academic Exchange Service/Deutscher Akademischer Austauschdienst (DAAD) has opened applications for scholarships tied to postgraduate studies in the field of Architecture.
DAAD scholarships offer graduates the opportunity to continue their education in Germany while connecting with similar scholars.
Benefits
- A monthly payment of €850
- Travel allowance
- One-off study allowance
- Under certain circumstances, scholarship holders may receive monthly rent subsidy, monthly allowance for accompanying members of family
- To enable scholarship holders to learn German in preparation for their stay in the country, DAAD will ensure payment of course fees for the online language course for six months after receipt of the scholarship award letter
Eligibility
- Foreign applicants who have bagged a first degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Monument Conservation, Urban Planning/Urban Development, Regional Planning, Landscape Architecture, or Landscape Planning
- Applicants should have taken their final examinations no longer than six years before the application deadline
- Not open to applicants who have been residing in Germany for more than 15 months
