Committed to Good (CTG) is seeking applications from eligible applicants for the post of Business Development Manager.
CTG provides specialist staffing solutions for the most challenging locations, supporting clients globally in fragile, conflict-affected countries and disaster environments.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the proposal development process, ensuring a high quality and timely submission
- When not actively engaged in writing proposals, support corporate business development strategy development and implementation
- Conduct business development related research and data analyses to support the business development and regional team and other business development needs
- Engage in the teams’ development of best practice and evidenced base approaches utilised in proposals
- Prepositioning/external engagement and networking
- Conduct market assessment research, as required, on opportunity information, competitive landscape and CTG capabilities/capacity in the West African region
- Participate in field visits and business development trips, reach out to regional teams and national offices and with identified local partners
- Prepare proposal and coordination, and assist with the technical writing support
- During capture and preparation phases, support and advise, where possible, win strategy development discussions, including development of technical solutions and workforce management plans
- Collaborate with proposal team regarding local infrastructure requirements
- Help ensure technical proposal corresponds to budget and other cost volume documents
- Assist in developing methods and materials to communicate to clients
- Work collaboratively with team members when assigned to work as part of a team
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, International Relations, Social Sciences
- Five years, minimum, of relevant experience
- Five years, minimum, of experience in Middle East and/or Africa
- Fluency in English (essential)
- French (preferred)
- Arabic (optional)
