The Catholic Relief Services (CRS) has opened applications for its International Development Fellows Programme 2025.

Catholic Relief Services’ International Development Fellows Programme prepares dedicated global citizens to pursue a career in international relief and development work. CRS empowers fellows to hone their skills and gain practical field experience while contributing to impactful work.

Benefits

  • Fellows can access providers around the world through CRS’ health plan with Aetna International.
  • Comprehensive dental benefits 
  • Basic furnished housing, which includes electricity, running water, internet and security services (if necessary)
  • 20 days of paid vacation along with 12 days of sick leave annually
  • Four personal days to attend to emergency or non-emergency situations occurring during a normally scheduled workday
  • Coverage of fellows’ travel to their country of assignment
  • In the event of a life-threatening illness or accident, fellows as well as accompanying dependents on assignment have access to CRS’ medical assistance vendor who can facilitate emergency care anywhere in the world
  • 50 percent match on the first six percent of contributions as well as a contribution of seven percent of pay regardless of employee contributions, after six months of service
  • Upon hire, fellows have access to CRS’ robust online learning platform
  • Reimbursement of up to $5,200 per year for employees pursuing degrees and professional certifications, after one year of employment

Eligibilty
  • Graduate degree in a relevant field
  • Two years, minimum, of work experience, including six months, minimum, of work or volunteer experience in a developing country
  • Fluency in English with strong oral and written communication skills
  • Professional proficiency in a second language (preference given to French, Arabic and Portuguese)
  • Able to work in locations with infectious diseases and limited access to medical facilities
