Coastal Oceans Research and Development – Indian Ocean (CORDIO) East Africa has opened applications for Internships.
The internships are aimed at providing opportunity for early-career researchers to be part of a dynamic and stimulating environment that will allow them to apply, develop and learn relevant skills and knowledge, while contributing to CORDIO’s ongoing projects and activities.
CORDIO East Africa specialises in generating knowledge to find solutions that benefit marine ecosystems and people.
Benefits
- Stipend will be offered to assist interns in covering transport and living costs
Eligibility
- Open to university students in their final year of study, recent graduates, and postgraduates with background in Ecology, Marine Biology, Conservation, Environmental or Social Science
- Applicant should proficient in using Microsoft Excel for analytical purposes
- Applicant’s written and spoken English skills must be strong
- Ability to review scientific literature and technical reports
- Applicant should be organised and motivated
- Applicant should have the ability to work independently with minimal supervision
