Concern Worldwide has announced a call for applications for the National NGO Programme on Humanitarian Leadership (NNPHL).

The programme is designed for exemplary, mid-level humanitarian professionals working for non-governmental or community-based organisations based in Kenya and Somalia.

Eligibility

  • Two supporting documents are required and must be submitted at the time of application: a one-to-two-page CV, and a letter of reference from current or most recent manager highlighting suitability to participate in NNPHL
  • Mid-level position in a non-governmental or community-based organisation
  • Professional experience in at least one or more humanitarian emergency situations
  • Ability to demonstrate management experience (i.e., managing a team)
  • Interest in pursuing leadership roles in the humanitarian sector
  • Ability to speak, read, and write English with proficiency
  • Bachelor’s degree or a comparable academic or professional qualification
  • Permission of employer to participate in all aspects of the programme
