The Commonwealth has announced a call for applications for the 2024 Commonwealth Professional Fellowship programme.
The fellowship is designed to provide professionals with the opportunity to enhance knowledge and skills in their given sector and to have catalytic effects on their workplaces.
Benefits
- Fellows will receive return air tickets
- Fellows will receive a monthly stipend of £1,944 each
- Fellows will receive arrival allowance of up to £1,061.10
- Standard visa fees will be reimbursed
- Additional financial support will be provided to fellows with special needs
Eligibility
- Applicant must be a Commonwealth country citizen or have been granted refugee status by a Commonwealth country
- British-protected individuals can also apply
- Applicant must be a permanent resident of an eligible Commonwealth country
- Applicant must have five years of full-time or equivalent part-time work experience in accordance with the organisation’s programme
- At the time of application, the applicant must be in employment
- Applicant must not have attended any Commonwealth professional fellowship in the most recent five years
- Applicant must not be seeking any academic programme or pursuing any research programme
- Applicant must be able to attend the course on the prescribed dates
