Committed to Good (CTG) is seeking applications from eligible applicants for the post of Project Coordinator.

Responsibilities
- Support the needs assessment team leader in drafting the methodology for the needs assessment including the questionnaires for each sector
- Lead the process of collecting the information in the agreed sectors in collaboration with the local authorities
- Undertake field visits with the field engineers to review the physical damage
- Draft the needs assessment report and submit it to the project manager for approval
- Work closely with the team leader and the selected NGO partner to organise the local prioritisation workshop to agree on rehabilitation priority plan, and ensure all the relevant local stakeholders attend the prioritisation workshop
- Finalise and submit the priority plan to the project manager for approval
- Coordinate all the support provided to the municipality from the stabilisation facility
- Work closely with the selected NGO partners to engage in the conflict analysis process, as well as the small scale peacebuilding interventions
- Work closely with the field engineer(s), supervise the rehabilitation work and provide regular bimonthly reports to the project manager on the progress of work
- Immediately report any variation or problem arising in the rehabilitation work or provision of equipment to the project manager
- Conduct regular field visits to the project sites to monitor the implementation of the workplan
- Provide regular mentoring and support to the municipality/local authorities and ensure the local authorities are engaged in the project
- Organise any required workshops or events
- Lead the communication of the project at the municipality level
- Ensure and monitor the proper operation of the finalised projects
- Undertake any other relevant tasks as requested by the project manager
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Political Science, Development Studies, Public Administration, Project Management, Engineering, or a related field
- Bachelor’s degree with seven years, minimum, of experience may be accepted
- Five years, minimum, of relevant project coordination experience with demonstrated experience of working closely with local authorities and civil society
- Experience of management or coordination of infrastructure project (desirable)
- Experience of working with international agencies and NGOs (desirable)
- Proven ability to work with multi-disciplinary teams and liaise with authorities
- Fluency in English and Arabic
