Cisco Global Impact has opened applications for the Cisco Global Impact Cash Grant Programme 2024.
Cisco Global Impact is a nonprofit organisation (NPO) that supports other non-profits/non-governmental organisations (NGOs) that address a significant social problem.
The organisation aims to support programmes that fit within their investment areas, to identify, incubate, and develop innovative early-stage solutions with the highest potential for impact.
Benefits
- Funding for first-time grant recipients is US$75,000
Eligibility
- Organisations and programmes must focus on at least one of Cisco’s social investment areas (crisis response, education, economic empowerment, and/or climate impact and regeneration)
- Organisations from outside the United States must provide information and documents to determine whether the organisation is the equivalent of a U.S. public charity
- Organisations within the United States must be recognised by the Internal Revenue Service (IRS)
as tax exempt under Internal Revenue Code Section 501(c)(3) and classified by the IRS as a public charity - Applicant organisations must serve an audience greater than 65 percent economically underserved relative to the average standards of the target geography
- An organisation’s overhead must not to exceed 25 percent
