CIFAR, in partnership with the Azrieli Foundation, has opened applications for the CIFAR-Azrieli Global Scholars Programme.
The programme is designed to explore cutting-edge ideas with unrestricted research support while addressing the most important questions facing science and humanity.

Eligibility
- Applicants may be based anywhere in the world
- Applicants must hold a PhD (or equivalent) and be within the first five years of starting a full-time research position at an institution of higher education or research
- Scholars’ research interests must complement or contribute to the themes and goals of an eligible CIFAR research programme
- Be available to attend a virtual interview between March 21 and 23, 2022
