Chemonics is seeking to fill the role of Regional MEAL Coordinator.
Chemonics is an international development firm with the aim to reimagine global supply chains to deliver essential medicines to the right place at the right time.
Responsibilities
- Support data collection in the regions to capture activity performance results
- Ensure MEL files are maintained and organised and that data is entered into the activity MEL system
- Support partners and other key stakeholders to review, interpret and formulate practical implications of data and evidence
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Statistics, Development Studies, Monitoring and Evaluation, or relevant area
- Eight years of experience in monitoring and evaluation at the local level, especially in the areas of nutrition and health/food systems, WASH, and nutrition governance
- Knowledge of M and E concepts and tools; knowledge of statistical software (SPSS, GIS Mapping, etc.) preferred
- Demonstrated knowledge of USAID MEL requirements and reporting protocols
- Experience in the development and implementation of learning agendas, including knowledge management and documentation learning
- Proficient in IT Skills
- Experience with a USAID-funded project (preferred)
- Demonstrated leadership, versatility, and integrity
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
