Climate Change Africa has announced a call for Green Ambassador for the Climate in Africa 2020.
This is to ensure that young climate activists in Africa gain international recognition.
Also, the environmental activists will join the Climate Change Africa Opportunities (CCAO) network to share ideas, learn, connect and act on the global imperative to fight climate change.
The aim is to identify, encourage and promote and network the contributions of young climate activists.
Benefits
- International certificate for their loyal and noble services rendered for the protection of the environment and the fight against climate change in Africa
- Their achievements will be valued, disseminated and highlighted on the communication platforms of CCAO and its partners
- Green Ambassadors will join the Climate Change Africa Opportunities Network, benefit from its opportunities to share ideas, learn, connect and act on the global imperative to fight climate change
- Young climate and environment activists and active ones will have a chance to participate in the activities of CCAO and its partners in their respective countries and in Africa
Eligibility
- Applicant must have the nationality of an African country
- Applicant must be between the ages of 18 and 35 at the time of application
- Applicant should be active and committed to share ideas, learn, connect and act on the global imperative to fight climate change
