AWE is an initiative of the U.S. State Department’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs.

Eligibility
- Open to South African women between the ages of 21 and 35
- Applicants must be fluent in English
- Applicants must either have a feasible business idea or have been in business for no more than two years
