The American University in Cairo (AUC) has opened applications for the Fellowships for Refugees programme.
The programme is designed for bright, highly motivated individuals interested in pursuing a master’s degree at the university.
Each year, fellowships are offered to a number of refugees for full-time study. The duration of the fellowship is two academic years.

- Housing allowance or accommodation at the AUC residences based on need
- Student services and activities fees
- Medical service and health insurance fees
- May cover remedial English courses and pre-requisite courses
Eligibility
- Applicant with refugee status
- Open to all disciplines of graduate studies
- New graduate degree-seeking students must satisfy AUC graduate admissions requirements
- Continuing students must maintain a GPA of at least 3.2
