Africa Policy Research Institute (APRI) is seeking to fill the position of Programme Intern.
APRI is a new, independent, non-partisan African policy institute researching key policy issues affecting the African continent.
Responsibilities
- Support APRI’s research programmes with data gathering and analysis as required
- Support APRI’s communication and social media management team as required
- Coordinate the translation, proofreading and editing of documents as required
- Support other team members in preparing and formatting documents, including PowerPoint presentations
- Any other general responsibilities as may be reasonably requested over time
Requirements
- Undergraduate degree or currently enrolled in an undergraduate or postgraduate university programme in Economics, International Relations, Political Science, Development Studies, Public Policy or equivalent
- Proficient in conducting literature reviews and data analysis
- Proficient with computer technology and Microsoft Office applications
- Sharp attention to detail with an ability to multitask
- Able to work well with culturally diverse and geographically distributed staff and partners
- Fluent in English language
