Applications are open for the African Peacebuilding Network (APN) Research Policy Fellowship 2025.
The APN Research Policy Fellowship provides support for African scholars who have been recipients of an APN IRF fellowship within the past five years.
It also enables scholars to seek affiliation with African regional and national policy think tanks, institutions, and advocacy organisations operating in the fields of peacebuilding, security, and development.
Benefits
- $12,000 funding for the period
- Funding to cover housing, travel, administrative, and meal costs for the duration of the fellowship
Eligibility
- Applicants must be former APN IRF fellows of the past five years (2020-2024) and interested in policy-related research
- Applicants must be currently residing in an African country
- Applicants must be African academics, as well as policy analysts and practitioners
- Historically marginalised persons and communities are strongly encouraged to apply, including women, indigenous people, gender diverse, persons with disabilities, amongst others
