Africa Practice is seeking to fill the role of Consultant/Senior Consultant.
Africa Practice is a pan-African advisory firm operating at the nexus of government and industry. The organisation works with public and private sector clients to help them manage risks and reputation in complex contexts.
Responsibilities
- The consultant will design and deliver advocacy strategies and issue-based campaigns on behalf of a range of private sector, public sector and development sector clients
- The candidate will drive change, and deliver social and economic impact
- Creative campaigns that leverage a diverse set of channels, from direct stakeholder engagements to social and digital media, mass mobilisation, thought leadership and focused behavioural change
- Identify and drive opportunities for partnerships across different stakeholder ecosystems in line with overarching goals and objectives
- Develop content for print, radio, television and online
- Co-ordinate advocacy and stakeholder engagement campaigns and manage a team to deliver across different channels, content types and timelines
Requirements
- Five years of relevant experience
- Bachelor’s degree
- English (French is an added advantage)
- Must be eligible to work in Nigeria
- A strong interest in, and enthusiasm for, politics, policy issues and current affairs
- Exceptional research and communication (written and oral) skills
- Sound reasoning and critical thinking
- Ability to synthesise large amounts of information in a concise manner while extracting pertinent insights
- The ability to assimilate, analyse and summarise written material quickly
- Time management skills and the ability to deliver high quality work with tight deadlines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
