Africa No Filter, in partnership with Electric South, Imisi 3D and Meta, has opened applications for grants to support the production and development of new content.

In a bid to support a thriving XR ecosystem, Africa No Filter will be commissioning work which uses immersive technology to tell exciting stories about Africa.

Benefits

• Up to $30,000 in grants for winners
• Successful applicants will receive continues mentoring and production support
• Opportunity to showcase projects in a virtual or in-person showcase

Eligibility

• Applicant must be at least 18 years old
• Applicant must be African, and living and working in Africa
• Applicant must have had experience in creating XR content and have at least one completed XR project
• Applicant must have a portfolio of work accessible online
• Proposed project must be completed within six months
